Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Escape Journeys ("the Agency") and its clients.

By making a payment to the Agency, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.

 

Organization

Escape Journeys is a Sales & Marketing operator located in UAE, registered under UAE with license number: 0308500.

 

Deposits and Payments

Deposit Requirements: A non-refundable deposit of 30% per person (minimum $375 USD or €100) is required to secure a reservation. No reservation is considered confirmed until the deposit is received.

Final Payment: Full payment must be received no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via all major credit cards (a European Surcharge of 3% is added), bank transfer, or check.

Full payments made via US check or money order will receive a 3% discount.

Special Accommodations: Itineraries including private villas, private yacht charters (single- or multi-day), exclusive room types, and/or early booking or promotional rates may require an additional non-refundable deposit. These terms will be communicated in writing and require client agreement.

 

Rates and Taxes

All rates are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates or other market conditions. The Agency reserves the right to correct any errors in pricing.

Airfare rates are not guaranteed until ticketed and paid in full.

Prices do not include airline tickets, airport taxes, costs of passports and visas, personal expenses, or services not explicitly stated in "The Package Includes."

 

Changes and Cancellation Policy

 

Land Packages:

46+ Days Prior to Departure: Non-refundable deposit applied as a travel voucher (less incurred fees), valid for 12 months.

45-31 Days Prior to Departure: 50% of the total trip cost.

Within 30 Days Prior to Arrival: 100% of the total trip cost.

No Shows and Early Departures: No refunds will be made for no-shows, early departures, or unused services.

 

 

Refund Requests: All refund requests must be made in writing and will be processed within 60 days of receipt.

 

Special Accommodations (Private Villas, Yacht Charters, etc.): Cancellation penalties for these services are subject to alternative policies, which will be provided in writing at the time of booking.

 

Amendment Fees: A $25 USD or €20 amendment fee applies for changes or modifications made to an itinerary once a deposit is received.

 

Air Reservations: Cancellations of air reservations are subject to the terms and conditions set by the airlines.

 

Force Majeure: The Agency is not liable for any cancellation, delay, or changes caused by natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, civil disturbances, or any other force majeure events.

 

Travel Protection and Insurance

The Agency strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellations, trip interruptions, and other unforeseen events.

The Agency is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accidents, illness, disappointments, or frustrations while on tour.

 

Travel Documents and Identification

All clients are required to obtain valid passports and visas (if applicable) for their trip. The Agency is not responsible for any cancellations or delays caused by the client’s failure to secure proper travel documents.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that the names on their travel documents match those on their passports.

 

Baggage Policy

Each passenger is allowed one standard-sized suitcase and one carry-on item. Excess luggage may require additional fees or arrangements.

The Agency is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay of baggage. Claims for such issues must be made directly with the airline, ferry, or other transport companies.

 

Responsibility

Escape Journeys acts as an intermediary between clients and local service providers (hotels, airlines, cruise lines, etc.). The Agency is not liable for any loss, injury, accident, or damage caused by service providers.

Additional expenses incurred due to delays, changes in schedule, strikes, weather, or other factors beyond the control of the Agency shall be borne by the passenger.

The Agency reserves the right to change or cancel itineraries when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances that could affect the safety or well-being of passengers.

 

Accommodations and Services

Hotel accommodations will be provided as per the itinerary. In the event a requested hotel is unavailable, an alternative of the same category will be provided.

Cruise itineraries, prices, and ships are subject to change without notice by cruise companies. Any changes are the sole responsibility of the cruise line.

Tours and excursions include transportation by air-conditioned coach and services of professional guides in English or Spanish. Optional excursions are not included unless specified.

 

Personal Attention and Support

The Agency provides 24/7 customer support during your stay. Any incidents not reported during the stay will not be addressed post-departure.

The Agency is available to assist with emergencies and inconveniences but is not responsible for non-reported issues.

 

Acceptance of Terms

Payment of a deposit or full payment is considered acceptance of all the above terms and conditions. Clients and agents must ensure that the client has read and agreed to these terms.

Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of UAE and or Greece, and any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of UAE and or Greece.
